Terms of use

The choices and responsibilities that come with praying together, plus the terms for the planned monthly Pro subscription.

Updated

The service and its prelaunch status

Adolfo Gutierrez operates Trusted Circles. These terms cover this website and the Trusted Circles app, a service for Christians to pray with one other person over audio. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

The iPhone app is prelaunch and is not yet publicly available on the App Store. This website explains the experience and planned options. It does not create accounts, sell subscriptions, or offer a working prayer call.

Launch depends on readiness and review. There is no guaranteed release date, and described plans may need updates before release.

Adults and accounts

You must be at least 18 to use the app. Christians across traditions and denominations are welcome.

Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in access, and use your own account. Do not impersonate someone, evade an account restriction, or share passwords or sign-in codes.

The app uses generated stable aliases rather than public legal-name profiles. An alias does not guarantee anonymity. Your voice and information you choose to share may identify you.

What you choose to share

A prayer request is optional when hosting. You review, edit, and approve a public preview before publication. Approving an unchanged preview shares the request text you entered. Other people can read the approved title and request before they ask to join.

Share only content you have permission to share. Do not put another person's private information in a public prayer request. By approving publication, you permit Trusted Circles to store and display that approved content as needed to operate the prayer service.

Public text goes through limited publication checks. A rejected preview leaves your editable prayer intact. Checks can make mistakes and cannot detect every harmful message. You can contact support to dispute a publication decision.

Trusted Circles does not record calls or create live transcripts. Other people may record externally, and the service cannot prevent that. Choose what to say with that limit in mind.

Calls, approval, and your Circle

Calls are one-to-one. A guest asks to join, and the host must approve every guest, including people already in their Circle. A request or saved connection does not create consent to enter a call.

Either person can leave at any time. Respect that choice without pressure. Do not demand private details or continued contact as a condition of prayer.

After a call, a Circle connection appears only when both people choose to save it. A Circle is not a group-call feature. Remove from circle clears both saved choices without blocking the person or ending a call. Unblocking does not restore old connections or cancelled join requests.

Community conduct

Pray respectfully, listen, and let the other person leave whenever they choose. Do not pressure anyone to change their beliefs or reveal private information.

The following conduct is prohibited.

  • Harassment, directed abuse, threats, sexual solicitation, spam, and impersonation.
  • Financial or spiritual manipulation, shaming, coercion, selling services, or soliciting money.
  • Unsafe requests for contact details or arrangements for unsafe contact.
  • Sharing content without the necessary rights or permission, exposing another person's private information, or using the service for unlawful activity.
  • Evading a block, restriction, or other person's decision to stop contact.

Legitimate prayer about difficult subjects, including addiction, abuse, sexuality, suicide, grief, and recovery, is welcome. The conduct rules concern how people treat one another and what they publish.

Reports, blocks, and account restrictions

You can Report or Block from a prayer preview, join request, Circle member, or call. Those controls remain available before audio starts and after an audio failure. Submitting a private report also blocks the person.

Authorized reviewers can review reports and restricted public-content evidence. Trusted Circles may remove public content, restrict an account, or suspend access when needed to address conduct violations or safety concerns. You can contact support to dispute a restriction or request a review.

Publication checks and report review do not guarantee safety. Trusted Circles does not continuously monitor audio or promise a response deadline.

Planned Free and Pro options

Subscriptions are not available now. These are the approved options planned for launch.

Free is planned at $0, with 1 started call per day and up to 3 minutes when hosting.

Pro is planned at US$9.99 per month, with 3 started calls per day and up to 10 minutes when hosting.

The host's plan sets the call's maximum duration. When a call starts, both people use their own daily allowance. Waiting for approval or an audio connection that fails before the call starts does not use a call.

Monthly Pro billing at launch

The Pro amount above is the approved US monthly launch price. The localized price, currency, applicable taxes, and billing terms shown in Apple's purchase confirmation will control the purchase. Monthly billing is the only planned subscription period.

If you subscribe when purchases become available, Pro will automatically renew each month until you cancel. Manage or cancel through your Apple account. Follow the instructions and cancellation timing shown by Apple.

Apple's subscription cancellation guide

Deleting your Trusted Circles account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it separately through Apple if you want billing to stop.

Request any refund through Apple. Eligibility depends on Apple's process and applicable law.

Service limits and urgent help

Trusted Circles is a peer prayer service. It is not emergency response, crisis support, medical care, or clinical treatment. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted person nearby.

A compatible prayer partner, a working connection, and uninterrupted availability are not guaranteed. Calls depend on other participants, devices, and network conditions. Personal controls and aliases cannot guarantee another person's conduct or protect everything you choose to share.

Privacy, ending use, and your rights

The privacy policy explains information handling, public previews, audio limits, and retention. You can stop using the service and request account deletion through the app or support.

Nothing in these terms limits statutory rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes and contact

These terms are dated . Updates will appear on this page with a new date.

Planned launch details can change as the app is prepared. No subscription begins through visiting this website.
